Veeam University Pro

Hey! My company currently has a Veeam Premium license which includes all of the core Veeam products. I really want to certify to showcase my skills and improve them too, but they are refusing the pay 2.5k for the course material + exam.

I can see there is a Veeam University Pro for customers and partners but to be perfectly honest it seems all cluttered the some of the links are dead and return to dead ends.

What options do I have and is there a cheaper way to certify?

    Hi and welcome to the community!

    Just thinking out loud: When your company spends money in VDP Premium - which is good - then they should evaluate the 2,5k for Uni Pro. The good thing is that this is not only for a single user, but for multiple. You get everything in there what you need for self-lead education.

     

    Alternatively you can reach out to local training centers but they might charge more than 2,5k - per person.

     

    Maybe you can reach out to one of your Veeam sales reps and / or partner managers to talk about options and get additional info.

      So does that mean any company can pay 2.5k for University Pro and get the benefits for all their colleagues?

        There is usually a set number of users for University Pro packages.  If you purchase just for one user, then you would need to share the account for all and it is better to have your own.

          I think the biggest takeway between Customer vs Partner training purchases ​@lgh is that for a customer, you can purchase a single “SKU” (training), whereas with Partner the minimum you can purchase there is 4. You could elect to do “customer” then have your company reimburse you, or use a company CC to purchase?
