Veeam has introduced yet another plugin for storage so anyone that uses HPE XP8 can find the KB here - KB4194: Release Notes for HPE XP Plug-In for Veeam Backup & Replication 1.0.66
As per Gostev’s digest it uses the Hitachi SVP engine so it was easy for them to add support -
Last week we've shipped yet another Universal Storage API plug-in, this time it is for HPE XP8 storage. This storage model uses the Hitachi VSP engine underneath, so it was easy for us to quickly add support after we integrated with the latter. For the release notes, please refer to KB4194.
