Veeam Plug-in for RMAN - Backup to Tape

I have asked the same last week through a support case for HANA.

But on our case, we use StoreOnce Catalyst, and it is a little bit more complicated to do so.

For example, when we want to put a full to tape we do :

→ Change the repository to a NAS

→ Perform a full backup

→ Change backup to the catalyst repository

→ Perform the regular backup

Then, with some automation we do a file to tape with the backup on NAS.

I have asked this just before V11 was released, too.

At the moment there are no plans to do this.

I would be glad to be able to direct the copy jobs for the plugin backups directly to tape. With the actual versions a file copy to tape is possible only… Or a copy job to a disk repository.
