Hey all....just wanted to make everyone aware of a new patch Veeam released -> Veeam KB 4420. There are some enhancements & fixes you should be aware of, so check it out. 

Yeah, saw this in the Vanguard slack earlier.  Had to apply it tonight to a VCC server. 🙁

Does anyone know if there is an email notification available from Veeam when new patches are released?

Backup Copy jobs fail to resume processing if the previous processing interval was interrupted.

You can use rss feed for daily updates of updated or new kb articles:

https://www.veeam.com/services/open/kb/rss-feed

 

Or register yourself for the weekly summary mail.

I have actually had RSS feeds in Outlook for Veeam for a while as well as the email notification (year or more ago).  😋

Hi,

I have just applied the B&R 12 CP3 update on our Veeam B&R installation.  The Build version now says 12.0.0.1420 P20230718, which confirms the update was installed successfully.

However, in Veeam B&R under Backup Infrastructure, it still alerts me of Missing updates on our backup server and refers to KB4420.  I click on re-check but it still thinks the update is missing.

The server itself is fully up-to-date with Windows patches and has been rebooted.

I can click to Dismiss this but if it still thinks B&R 12 CP3 update is missing, then should I be concerned about that?
