Hi, new install of veeam with a dell poweredge server and powerstore connected via iSCSI. this will be a hardened repo.

Has anyone tested the optimal settings for Veeam including immutability against the powerstore so the powerstore can still perform the data reduction tasks?

Disabling encryption and setting dedupe friendly compression are your two most important job configuration settings within Veeam. Just make sure you’re isolating any management/iSCSI traffic to prevent a compromise of storage etc as immutability won’t save you if someone accesses the powerstore and deletes the volume
