Veeam One Installation Failed.

Doea Veeam ONE work?  Have you tried to run it and connect to servers?  Maybe it is a UI big if the install completed successfully.

I have completed numerous Veeam deployments before but I am facing this particular error for the first time and this is a fresh installation on a new VM. Everything is new.

If it’s not working, take a look in %ProgramData%\Veeam\Setup for the installation logs. 
Is this OS fresh installed? And no further reboot before VONE installation? Maybe some pending Windows Updates/reboots…Had an installation issue with VONE in the past.

Well maybe it is a one off. Does the program work or not now?  That is the big test to see if the error is just a bug or did something not install.

We cannot explain why this time the error came up since things have worked before.

There are many logs files I’m checking and this is a new deployment I think this is an infrastructure limitation.

VM updated and rebooted i m thinking this is environment limitation.

Based on this error that would be the issue you are encountering.  I would try to install SQL Express first and you can install a newer release if needed then point the installer to that so it skips this part.

Interesting. Not much detail on why SQL Xpress failed to install. Agree with Chris here...if this doesn’t install properly, you can always install a more current version and then re-attempt VONE install.

This is totally new installation I'm not sure if anyone else faced this issue but anyhow it is fixed now I install the new instance latest sql DB and attached during the veeam one deployment.

Thank you ​@Chris.Childerhose as you said yesterday it works for me I deployed new instance db latest version and attached it to veeam one during deployment it is successfully installed and working as expected.

I'm not sure if anyone's else faced this issue during the new implementation as well.
