As title says, Veeam's new policies change the license per socket to more advanced type of licensing.
Will the “community version” be affected / discontinued?

Since the community edition is forbidden to be used for offering services for Third Party's (Customers of a service provider) and is only practicable for homelabs or own use (in your own small company), I don’t see veeam anything changing here.
