Veeam Agent for Windows power computer on?

How can I get VAW to power the computer on (from shutdown, not from sleep or hibernate)?

I set the backup to turn the system on at 01:30 and run the backup, but it actually started when I switched the computer on later in the morning.

Is there some Windows registry, or BIOS setting that is needed?

Thanks, David

Veeam Agent for Windows cannot power on a PC for backups.  That would need to be taken care of from the BIOS if possible.  Veeam only does from sleep or hibernate.

Not a problem as that should work to bring it out of hibernate to run the backup.

You can use Wake on LAN to turn on a computer from off or a smart switch to trigger it.
