Performance issues with large servers during Agent backups are usually related to bottlenecks in one or more areas, Storage Performance Network bandwith, Job mode, parallel processing, compression.
Based on the image you shared, the bottleneck is on the Source. This means the main limitation is on the protected server side. You can check disk performance, CPU/Memory usage, concurrent workloads.

+21Also if this is internal disks what RAID level and type is being used. Something further to check along with what Matheus said.
+21In addition to what was already mentioned above...you can also run a chckdsk and maybe a defrag to verify all is well with the source disk you’re backing up. Let us know what you find by the suggestions provided.

+12Also consider blocked firewall ports and / or antivirus software that might cause significant bottlenecks.
Please make sure that on every component through that “processing chain” all required FW ports are confired and all AV exclusions are set properly.

I’m asking this because if dont need versioning, I’ll recommentd you to take image level backup instead of file backup, it is much, much faster, and to resotre, yuo can leverage IFLR, on v12, you can also use de compare feature, such this.
