Hi all,

today I updated my Veeam Agents Free for Windows to the new version 6.x. I read about this version is no longer using SQL Express LocalDB and this is also written in the release notes. But looking in the installed software the SQL Express LocalDB is still installed.

So I’m asking if SQL Express LocalDB is still needed for the Veeam Agent Free for Windows?

Thank You and Kind Regeards

With v6 the LocalDB is no longer in use, but it doesn't get removed during the upgrade. If your client(s) have no other component which relies on those components, you can remove them manually.
