VBR v13 - CTRL+C Not Working

Previously, we were able to CTRL+C rows from the Tape Infrastructure tab and paste them into an Excel sheet for tracking. Now when copying the rows and pasting into Excel, it results in empty cells. Pasting into notepad and other text editors shows blank spaces as well. Is this some sort of bug that anyone else is experiencing?

I had 5 minutes to check our internal R&D ticketing system, and there is a known issue flagged for this situation.
I can’t promise it will be fixed in v13.1, as it doesn’t feel like a critical issue and our current goal is to replace the Windows-based backup console with the Web UI as soon as possible.
 

If this issue is important for you, please open a case with our customer support team. If enough cases are raised, it should help prioritize a private fix for this issue. Otherwise, the alternative is to wait for a future version where it is resolved or “Tape Infrastructure” node fully migrated to Web UI.

This could be a bug, but you would need to post over on the Forums - https://forums.veeam.com to have it more visible.  I have seen the dialog come up but can still paste as I mentioned in my other post most times.

I will test out the tape library tab to see whether I see the same thing or not as we have a few sites using tape.  I will report back.

Hmm...some sort of bug or a “security feature” ​@AleR . Agree with Chris and either post on the Forums to inquire of the Product Managers or open a Case to see if this is known or a bug. Curious what they say...

I just tested it on my environments. 

v12 it is working fine. 

v13, no content gets copied. So yeah, it seems like a bug to me.

Yeah, I can confirm the same in v13.  So bug which you need to report and I would post on the forums too.

Since when are bugs reported to the forum :)

 

@AleR Please contact our customer support team first. Every technical issue will require a support case for investigation.

Our support Team will be able to talk to our RnD department to confirm if its a bug or not.


The RnD forum is not the right place to post „is it a bug“ questions (RnD Forum policies).

Thanks for the update Fabian on this.  Not a big deal to me but those that need it should open a case.  Looking forward to the Web UI parity anyway and getting away from the Windows client. 😎
