Hello all,

I’m currently testing Veeam for Salesforce. All works fine. I just don’t manage to get eMail Alerts up and running.

I set the alert and the Connection Setup to Microsoft O365 with classic connection.
When sending Test email I receive Error:

G6HH: Notification channel configuration is invalid, please verify your settings.

Trace Id: 293b541a6b68e109

Can anybody help me with this error msg?

Thanks

Rainer

As you write “classic connection”, do you mean basic authentication with a username and password?

https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbsf/userguide/notification_settings.html?ver=20

If so, maybe the user you’ve configured doesn’t have SMTP Auth enabled in Exchange Online? Maybe you can also try modern authentication, or anonymous?

If that doesn’t help, I would suggest that you contact support, which is possible during trial/evaluation. Especially because of your second issue with Slack.

Thanks @regnor, the modern authentication worked, ince I configured it in Exchange. Thanks.

For the Slack issue I will open a ticket, but this is not an important feature for me.
