Hi Community,

We have a Synology NAS storage in our environment and would like to confirm the following: Is there any possible way to add Synology NAS storage to Veeam Backup? After adding Synology NAS storage to Veeam, is there an option to send data from Synology storage to Google Cloud Storage (Object Storage) through Veeam? Please advise if this approach is supported and share any best practices or documentation that can help us implement this. Thank you for your assistance.

For Synology there is no plugins for it.  You can use SMB/NFS shares or if you have it connected to your virtual environment by iSCSI/NFS and in a VM then you can use that as a repo server.

@waqasali Do you want to use the Synology added on storage context into the VBR ?

It is not listed here:https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbr/userguide/storage_system_requirements.html?ver=13

you can use it as a regular NFS/iSCSI storage.
