Hello guys,

Have the following error regarding SureBackup Jobs:

Ping is being skipped:

Dedicated physical Hyper-V standalone server in use for only SureBackup tests.

Production network is where the actual Hyper-V server is in (aka Production Network), and isolated network is newly created.

Can’t find any much informations regarding those problems.

Hello @lukas.k  @Chris.Childerhose , found the issue.
Didn’t know that I need to map every production network switch (each vSwitch from Hyper-V Standalone hosts where I deploy our production VMs).

Thank you for the help.

Check this forum post to see if it helps - https://forums.veeam.com/vmware-vsphere-f24/surebackup-network-issues-t29852.html

I would also maybe post there as well to see if anyone can assist otherwise create a support ticket.

It might be the case that the VM / machine you are testing has multiple network interfaces or IP addresses. Please make sure that you map each, so you might need to create additional isolated networks.

Please also keep in mind that you should disable DHCP in the vLab settings in case your source system uses static IP addresses.

Best

Lukas

You shouldn’t have to have every switch, just the ones in use. At least that’s how it is in VMware, but either way, glad you got it working
