It seems like Veeam only let me restore sharepoint sites to the original location or a new list inside the same site.

I’m trying to restore data from one sharepoint site to another site and I try to use the “restore to” functionality.

trying to authenticate I get following error message “cannot connect to microsoft 365 - check error logs”

from the logs:

The normal restore option does work without any problem. I only get authentication errors using the “restore to” option from the Sharepoint Explore

  1. is it possible to restore data from one sharepoint site inside another site?
  2. Anyone an idea what permissions I need to add and where?

Thank you
Stijn
