I hope you can help me with the following problem.
I have ubuntu/linux running alongside windows, dual boot system.
Veeam Agent for Linux FREE is installed in ubuntu/linux.
But now when I arrive at Shared Folder Settings both NFS and SMB I can't fill in anything.
See attached photo as an example.
Path, Domain etc... I cannot access.

Hopefully July can help me further.

Kind regards,

Koen

I have never seen this behavior before.

What version of the agent are you using?

What is on the Destination tab right before this Network tab?  Are you pointing it to a Veeam Server repository?  It might fill this in automatically for you and not allow changes.  Never used the Linux Agent so I could be way off but typically this is what happens.

Excuse me, but this article is from 2016 and is the first announcement of the agent for Linux. This does not tell what version you are using.

And which Ubuntu version you are using would be of interest, too….

Naa, for this page he has to have selected shared directory in the destination tab.

The network tab for destination Veeam repository looks different.

Ok was just a thought as I don't use the Linux agent. 😜

XD

Did you try to access from another pc?

try the path, username and password to check that the access and rights are ok.

also depending on the network, net? vlan? etc….

cheers

Thanks for the response,
I am only now managing to respond!

I will try to answer your question as best as I can.

The version of Ubuntu is: 20.04.4 LTS.
The version of Veeam is: Veeam-Release-deb_1.0.8_amd64.deb

The location is on a NAS with treunas Scale.
I am using the same Veeam version but for windows on another laptop.
And make my back-Ups to the nas manually that way.
It is all for private use.
To the rights it will not lie.
The folders in the nas can be accessed via ubuntu.

See photo: This is the loction for the network tab.

JMeixer asked what the tab was for the network settings.

When you get to the network tab can you use the TAB key on your keyboard to move through the fields to change them?
