Hello
I am running into this issue; any idea what could  caused it

We need more details not just a screenshot of an error.

  1. What version of Veeam are you running?
  2. Is it the Community Edition or Licensed?
  3. What OS are you running?
  4. What version of SQL are you running?

Check the logs for the restore here - C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\JobName

You will also want to open a case to get support as this error is very vague and we will have a hard time pointing you in the right direction.

This error usually indicates that the restore point is either missing required database files, is corrupted, or the backup session wasn't properly registered.

You can try selecting a different restore point (the one you used may be invalid or incomplete).
Alternatively, try exporting the database files manually using Guest File Restore to extract the mdf/ldf files, or generate a .bak file.

Hi @mnaim -

I saw similar errors reported in the Forums..though not exactly your error, and there may just be an issue with SQL restores. One of them noted SQL restore may be a new bug, but there was not yet a resolution posted.

I agree with Chris...it would be best to open a Support case with Veeam.

on which version of Veeam do you run?

with support first approach is to upgrade to latest version

but i had such issue, and mostly was bug
