Hi All,

I’m encountering an error when attempting a restore from VBR version 13.1.2064 (recently upgraded):

“ResourceExhausted: Sending message exceeds the maximum configured message size.”

Does anyone know if this is a known issue or bug in the newer VBR versions?

Your best bet would be to open a Veeam support ticket as they will be best equipped to help you by reviewing any logs files you can upload to them.

Regarding if it is a known issue, I haven’t personally seen it before, and I can’t find any reference to it online related to Veeam.

As Tommy suggests..your best bet is to open a Veeam Support ticket. Someone may chime in who’s seen this before, but I haven’t seen any posts on this error yet.

Never seen this message as yet but recommend what others have said about a ticket.  I thought it had to do with the email alerts at first.  😂

what kind of restore it is?

is it by large VM restore?

are you using object storage as repository?

as in v13 communication was switch to gRPC, maybe you hit limit there …

do you have solution from support case?
