Morning!

In the latest “The Word From Gostev”, Anton Gostev has announced that the v11a platform update should be entering early availability this week.

 

Normally you’d have to engage with Veeam support to receive this as a download but based on what appears to be a lack of engagement with this method (Anton stated they were never happy with the number of downloads yielded via this method), Veeam are looking to release the new updates during EA status via the Veeam R&D forums.

 

If you’ve been living under a rock and you’re not aware of them, these are at https://forums.veeam.com

 

To download the update you’ll need to go to the relevant product section of the forum.

I’ll update this post when the EA downloads become available.

v11a is nearly here! :grinning:

I’m linking to @Mildur’s post as it contains the fix for the boot loop problem, when upgrading to Windows Server 2022 with ReFS repositories.

I have updated our testserver to 11a yesterday evening.

Update worked without problems. will play around with it the next days...

There is nothing in this kb for Veeam V11a.

i think, there will be a new one for the Cumulative patches as soon the first one exists.

 

For the moment, use this one to upgrade to V11a:

I thought it was a SQL load problem and didn’t pay more attention to it, but it looks like it was a bug :grin:

User interface: some UI nodes may show outdated job status information, requiring users to press F5 to refresh the view and actualize it.
