I’m currently migrating from VMware to Proxmox and have run into an issue with Veeam. Backups from iSCSI only work when the VM machine version is set to 9.1.

I wanted to check if you have any visibility into when full support for version 10 is planned, as reverting my VMs to 9.1 significantly reduces the usability and performance of my iSCSI LUN.

This is already supported in VBR 13, what version of VBR are you running?

As per the requirements page 9.1 is the highest supported and 10 may come next release - https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbproxmoxve/userguide/system_requirements.html?ver=3

@Nikks: Machine Version 10 is supported with the latest plug-in. Make sure that the Proxmox VE plug-in is also up to date in your environment, and if so, please open a case to let our support check your issue.

@Chris.Childerhose The topic is about the machine version and not the Proxmox VE version. Proxmox VE 9.1 does come with machine version 10.

Chris, that’s the Proxmox VE version, not the VM level version.

Just like VMware, Proxmox has a VM level

Sorry guys misread that one.  Still early here and not had coffee yet.  😜

Apologies on the confusion.
