Hi @Marcel.K -

Is this a Veeam Calculator question, or VONE, or VBR?

Not sure anyone but support can confirm some registry change is performing as it should.

Best.

@Madi.Cristil I believe this might be better if moved to the Cyber Security Space VUG.

@Marcel.K It looks like Threat Hunter updates before every scan, but not more than once per hour. However I think you’re asking how to validate that the update actually happened. I can’t find any information on where the signatures are stored. Just that it connects to avupdate.veeam.com on port 443 to download them.

@Madi.Cristil @safiya - please move this to general discussion board as it is unrelated to calculator Commons.

Tommy O'Shea thank you, that you understand my question, where i would like to check if signatures are updating, that Veeam Threat Hunter is updating.

I have opened case  and based on statement is in Svc.VeeamThreatHunter.log on mount. The log itself will reflect if it had issues/errors in updating the signatures.

The Veeam Backup and Replication updates signatures for VTH before every scan but no more often than every 15 minutes. The first scan signature update may take up to 4-5 minutes.

Thanks for posting what Support found for you Marcel 👍🏻

Thanks for sharing what support said as this will help the community with the same inquiry.
