Hey, unless you’ve got Community edition Veeam I’d suggest opening a Veeam support case. We’re gonna need some more details before anyone knows what you’re dealing with.
What Veeam software are you using and what version?
Assuming this is Veeam B&R by the RPC message so what VM are you protecting? Windows? Linux? What version? If you browse to C:\Programdata\Veeam\Backup\<JobName> and look at the job and task log files there’ll be some warnings and errors in there. It’d be good to see them!

But MicoolPaul is right, some information from the job logs would be helpful to clarify.
+1We need to know the file it failed to open. More information will surely help. Follow the instructions by Micheal and get the logs, please.
