So in B&R v12 it is possible to directly backup to an object storage - same is valid for the agents if I’m not mistaken. Testing the current beta hasn’t given me that option to choose an object storage as target repository, so I guess it can only be achieved in combination with B&R? Or does it still have to be developed?

Normally you should have the option in standalone mode. Maybe it’s not set in the beta. I ll try to take a look
Have you installed the provided BETA license in the agent?
Only Workstation and Server editions will be able to use direct to object storage. the Free agent edition cannot use direct backups to object storage.
