I have backups that are SOBR-Tiered out to Azure blobs. I have an audit coming up and need to show that we have this data stored- Basically, I need to build a list of backups that are physically stored in Azure. I asked Veeam support about this, and they said that you can’t just list Azure backups because of how blobs work. I can’t be the only person who needs to do this, so I figure there must be a way. Whether or not Veeam is part of that mechanism is apparently debatable. As a side note, I have a recent install of Enterprise Manager. The backups I need to list are back to 2020 or before, and we didn’t have it at the time, but any historical logs it takes from VB&R would probably have been imported when EM was installed. How do others in the community answer inquiries of this sort?
+21If you have Veeam ONE you can run reports to show this, but if you don’t then you can use the VBR Console under the Backups section > Object Storage. In here you can see what is written to SOBR and where it is located - whether on-prem or object. You need to go in to the Properties window.
