If it’s a physical PC, you should be fine with the Veeam agent for workstation. Even the free version could do the job if you’re OK with writing backup to eg. a local USB drive or network share.
Further to Kristof above you can see the requirements for Windows Agent here -System Requirements - Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows Guide
If you are looking to set up Veeam Backup & Replication that is a different story.
Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows offers image-level, volume-level, and file-level backups to external drives, NAS. It provides reliable recovery through bootable recovery media, including bare-metal restores, and supports file-level restores directly from volume backups. Key features include flexible restore options, source-side encryption, and built-in compression for efficient storage.

Hi
Just to be a tad more concise and specific to your questions…
Veeam Agent for Windows should be good enough to back up just 1 physical Windows computer. You can download the free version here:
https://www.veeam.com/products/downloads.html?ad=menu-support (click the “Free/Community” tab near the top, then scroll down till you see the download button/link for Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows Free)
You don’t need to install a license since it’s free. If you need to create more than 1 backup job (for ex., you have more than 1 physical computer in the future to back up), then you would need to begin thinking about a license.
You can use Veeam Backup & Replication as well...but would be a bit more complex than what you really need.
Hope that helps.
I followed the instructions in coolsport00’s post above to install Veeam Agent for Windows Free on a Windows 11 PC. The backup works, but when I used the Agent to schedule the backup to run at 2AM, nothing happened, probably because there were no entries in Task Scheduler. Does VAWF actually support scheduling backup jobs?
