How to synchronize the WORKER (Proxy Server) with an NTP server

Dear Experts,
I'm validating Veeam Backup for a client.
I would like to back up VMs on Nutanix AHV.
I created a backup worker by referring to the following documents.
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbr/userguide/ahv_workers_add.html?ver=13
So, I have some questions.
Our customer wants to synchronize the time of this WORKER with their NTP server.
Q1) Is it possible for Veeam's WORKER to synchronize their time with their NTP server?
Q2) Could you please tell me how to synchronize the Veeam worker with their NTP server?
I apologize for asking such a very basic question, but could you please tell me?
Kind Regards,
Hideki

Hi @Hideki Arai - Welcome to the Community!

One thing about those Workers...those are a fairly new construct in Veeam’s component structure. They are also used with other ancillary hypervisor support like Proxmox and XCP-ng (Xen), etc.

They are Linux VMs, so theoretically, you could potentially “root” them and configure NTP. You would need to probably install the ntp package on it and then configure as needed. But...what I would do is get with Veeam Support before doing so. If you had a way to test it, like with a small test NTX environment, that would be my recommendation to do first. That, and get ahold of Veeam Support. They can share if you’re able to make that configuration change. My guess is not. But they would know for sure.

Keep us posted what they say.
