Having an issue backing up Win2022 Standard Server with Hyper-V separate.

Failed to connect to Oracle Details: Failed to logon user [win2022hyperv\michael] Win32 error:The user name or password is incorrect.  Code: 1326

Job backs up fine other than this error.   I am in a workgroup.   FDQN Computer name win2022hyperv.scsiraidguru.   Do I need to put full name?   It is individual nor protected.

You can try with the full name, but the first post about what you are trying to do is confusing. LOL

A little more detail will help.

Windows 2022 Standard Server has Hyper-V installed.   I have six Ubuntu VMs in it.   I restore the minecraft VMs when our children do stuff to them.   I back them up Hyper-V backup separately.   How do I bare metal backup the server to restore it, when it fails and still can restore each VM when they fail?  
 

E:\Hyper-V is the home of the VMs.

I will try to full FDQN name.  I can ping it from the Veeam server either way.

You can probably use the Agent for Windows to back up the server itself and create restore media for BMR.  Just make sure the repository is accessible to the media when doing a restore.

WIn7x64i7 is the Veeam 13 server.   I need to MBR it too.  

You can back that server up as well.  You may want to reach out to support to see if they have any other recommendations.

​@SCSIraidGURU You need to follow as Chris said, install the agent on you Windows in order to be able to create a recovery media. as soon as you have te recovery media, you can use the Bare Metal Restore feature.

I have backups that are full on Sunday and incremental on M-S.   Just figuring out the tape jobs to back each full and incremental set.
