Hi Folks,

I found that Rancher have a free certification. Rancher is Kubernetes but not a build it yourself one like Kubeadm. They also created the k3s version of Kuberentes that runs on a lot of appliances.

I have gone through the first lessons and they are very straight forward.

Kubernetes underneath the hood is pretty much the same. This is like an abstraction layer on top, like Tanzu for instance ( a bit of an over simplification but...). Some of the advantages are that they maintain certain helm charts for things like prometheus and service mesh Itsio and support them, so if you upgrade they guarantee that those other charts wont’ break type of thing. Again really depends on what you are looking for but if you are short on knowledgeable staff something like Rancher could help since you would be able to delegate certain tasks through the web gui instead of cli yaml fun 🙂

By the way I would also mention Openshift, one of the legends here @BertrandFR works a lot with it if I remember correctly.
