Hi,

We keep getting this error intermittently, approximately once a week, then 5 or 6 successful backups. Any suggestions? No finding much on the interwebs.

Agent: Failed to process method {Transform.CompileFIB}: Retrieved less bytes from the storage [765952] than required [1052672]. There is not enough space on the disk. Asynchronous request operation has failed. [requestsize = 1048576] [offset = 1336410173440]

It seems like it is trying to do either a synthetic full or backup retention but does not have enough working space.  This will get you going in the right direction - https://bp.veeam.com/vbr/2_Design_Structures/D_Veeam_Components/D_backup_repositories/repositories%20storage.html#:~:text=It%E2%80%99s%20recommended%20to%20use%20the%20Veeam%20Size%20Estimator,flexible%20and%20allows%20more%20workloads%20to%20be%20estimated.

I agree with Chris, you have a synthetic full scheduled, and there is not enough space on the drive for the new full, or not enough working space for that task.

I'd bet that your backup chain probably has multiple weeks of just incrementals, and because there's no new full, the oldest one can't age out, making your space problems worse.
