Hi, I’m running the most recent B&R CE version 13.0.1.180 and trying to create a recovery thumb drive. I have tried multiple USB sticks and keep getting the same error: Preparing USB disk Error: The system cannot find the path specified.
I know the USB sticks are good as they are new and I have tried multiple batches.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi, thank you. Yes, I am able to create an ISO. However, I was worried about it not booting right when I create a USB with it. Do you know if a failsafe way to transfer the iso to usb? Should I use Rufus?
Yeah Rufus is a good app to do that for sure. I have never had an issue doing it this way.
+21Are you trying to create it for the Agent? VBR does not do this you need the agent installation to create recovery media.
The server is B&R installed and is backed up by Agent. The Agent is not a separate install on this Server. Do you mean I should install standalone Agent? Would the two conflict? In version 12 of B&R, I can create a USB drive. Did the functionality change? There is a button to create a USB boot drive for the server, it’s just that when I run it. It fails.

Hi, yes, that’s what I’m doing and then getting the error message above. It sees the USB drive but results in the error.
+21Ah ok. Hmm not sure why the USB does not work. Did you maybe try image and then burn that to USB?

Yeah Rufus is a good app to do that for sure. I have never had an issue doing it this way.
