Hi,

We currently have VBR 12.3.1 Windows installed with VHR 2.0.

When I ugrpade the VBR server to V13, do I immediately have to upgrade VHR too or can I do that a few days later?

Thanks

Edy

Thank you @kristofpoppe  - I have an additional question. We have Veeam Windows Agent which back up to the VHR.

In case we decide to switch to the Linux VBR appliance. Can Windows Agent still connect the appliance and use repository or is a Windows VBR required? What about pushing out Windows Agent upgrade from the Linux VBR appliance? Any difference compared to Windows VBR?

Thanks,

Edy

Upgrading from 2.0 is not needed as noted and yes you can use this for the agent without issue.  If you use the console app with VSA it is the same to push the agent.

Hi @Edy there is no need to do it immediatly. The VHR can work independent on the VBR deployment. As long as you are still able to connect to the VHR it should be fine !
