What different between this community with the forum (https://forums.veeam.com/)

Hi @hs08 -

Welcome to the Community! This Veeam site is more focus on the Veeam Community as a whole with various "thematic" groups (pages), whereas the Forums is moreso direct interaction with the Veeam Product Management team. You can report bugs & submit feature requests, for example.

How that helps.

Hi @coolsport00

When you say ‘direct interaction with the Veeam Product Management team’ are this mean in this community the Product Management team not available to respond if we ask something?

They are available here. Some Veeam Product Management members occasionally comment on here. But the main venue/site they actively view posts & comment on is the Forums.

This site is more where Veeam Community members engage.

Users helping users is the best description.  Whereas support can help on the forums.

You can report bugs

Please don‘t forget to contact our customer support team first before reporting a bug :)

We need a case (logs uploaded to the case). It will be difficult to confirm most bugs over a forum topic. The RnD forum is NOT an alternative way to get support for technical issues.

More on the purpose and rules of our RnD forum can be found in our forum policies:

Best,

Fabian
