Hi Folks,

Calling all Micro$oft Office wizards out there!

What is the best way to embed CLI commands in a word doc? One so that it does not capitalize things or change the -- into one line?

I think you can create a text box or something but cumbersome. There must be a better way!

cheers

I think the last options is the best “syntax highlighter”!

depends if you want the reader to be able to use cut/paste with your code. If not, then just screenshots of the terminal console?

cut/paste is the goal. People generally don’t want to re-type out a command especially if long. Although I have been reading that doing that makes the brain remember much better than copying and pasting :).

I agree! When one copies and paste, there is no way you can remember it. Except you do everything possible to memorise it.
