Hello Veeam community 🖐🏻
I have a question regarding Backup Job Encryption and Backup Copy Job Encryption.
What is the general advices on this.
I have different encryption passwords for each Backup Job.
The question is here, do I need to enable encryption for Backup Copy Job or it will use the original encryption that we already have configured on regular Backup Job’s.

Just scroll down to the section about using an encrypted backup source.

That being said, if you want your Copy Jobs encrypted, you need to enable encryption on them in the Advanced Settings

Yes, I read trough the Guide. (my new best friend as you said 😀)
It was misunderstanding for me because original Backups iare Encrypted then I didn’t know how it works with Backup Copy Job.

My failsafe method is that I enable encryption at the repository level. I mean, I do enable it on jobs as well, but in the event that it’s missed on a job, I have it enabled on the repository….
