Hello Veeam community 🖐🏻
I have a question regarding Backup Job Encryption and Backup Copy Job Encryption.
What is the general advices on this.
I have different encryption passwords for each Backup Job.
The question is here, do I need to enable encryption for Backup Copy Job or it will use the original encryption that we already have configured on regular Backup Job’s.

+21That being said, if you want your Copy Jobs encrypted, you need to enable encryption on them in the Advanced Settings

Yes, I read trough the Guide. (my new best friend as you said 😀)
It was misunderstanding for me because original Backups iare Encrypted then I didn’t know how it works with Backup Copy Job.

+8My failsafe method is that I enable encryption at the repository level. I mean, I do enable it on jobs as well, but in the event that it’s missed on a job, I have it enabled on the repository….
