”That’s out of Scope” - Said no attacker ever.
Please consider this when you’re designing, implementing, or supporting solutions.
Even if it’s not in your work remit, share knowledge with your colleagues, highlight weaknesses, why they are weaknesses & what could be done to reduce/mitigate their impact.
Defence needs to aim to be flawless against every attack to keep data safe, an attacker only needs to win once for you to lose everything.
