Veeam Scenario Builder default retention

It would be practical if you could specify a default retention for all workloads in the first step. You can always adjust this later, but it would be easier to define it in advance (like the average workloads) if you have many workloads with the same retention.

And also a second default retention for Backup Copy jobs

Thanks Pete. Great suggestion. The plan is to have some central policies or the like in future.

Want to point out in case you didn’t notice it yet, that you can apply the same policy to multiple workloads today…
 

Select the target policies, and choose the “Apply policy from...[source workload]” option...

So, essentially, you create your workloads, set one workload with the policy you want, and it will copy those settings to the others.

That's a good point, and I hadn't noticed the policy inheritance issue.

However, a global policy would still be useful, as it would prevent the mistake of accidentally forgetting to inherit it. With many workloads this can happen very fast
