In the Veeam Scenario Calculator, we are able to set an expected “compress by” value in the backup job to take storage efficiency into account. It would be good to have this in the backup copy job also.

This would be useful where you’re backing up to a deduplicating appliance on the primary copy (so set “compress by” to zero), but then going out to an object repository with the BCJ (where I’d usually set 50% on the “compress by” field).
