While taking hundreds of screenshots (on a mac) on the simple calculator for documentation for my customer’s sites, instead of hitting the “4” on the keyboard, I hit the “r” (command+r). the page refreshed. all of my calculations were gone. I inputted some data and tried it again to verify what I just saw; it is repeatable. Can the simple calculator be made to cache at least some details in the browser? since there is no export function, screenshots are the only way of documenting the results and clearly it’s a risky business doing so.

 Hi @brett.gavin ,

Thanks for the feedback. Command + R is the hard refresh that clears the cache on your browser. At the moment, this is expected behavior. We will consider this situation for future improvements.

Thanks!

Hi @adamC, thanks for the reply. It’s always been my understanding that Command + Shift + R clears the cache and Command + R does a simple refresh of the page. I get the same results with both on the simple calculator. Just now, I used the refresh button in both Chrome and Safari and the calculated results disappear. Is this still the expected behavior?

Thanks,

Brett
