At several of our enterprise customers having a local VBR to each site is required.  It would be cool if you could select which sites require a VBR in the “Environment“ tab and where the centralized management components would live.  Then export all this to Gen AI to create architectural drawings ;)

This is a great idea, and the logical direction we should be taking to leverage our AI strategy and investment. Being able to export a graphical representiation of increasingly complex solutions is essential to our ability to efficiently deliver high quality designs.

I worked at a competitor who did this.  Was very useful and saved a ton of time.

Thanks @peterctrue (and sorry for the delayed reply).

Yes, we have plans to support multiple VBRs, but that is a bit of an undertaking, so hold fast for now. That said, the way I accomplish this at the moment is by defining multiple scenarios (one per VBR).

A little trick, if you’re wanting to use the same baseline for each scenario as a “template” of sorts, a quick way to “clone” a scenario is to export the file and reimport it (it generates a new unique scenario ID, but all other data is the same). I’ll be adding a “Clone” or “Save As...” button eventually too.

I determine individual site requirements for a VBR by de-selecting all other sites than the one I want to get the specs for. It can be tedious if you have 20 or 30 sites. However, I’ve found that no matter the size of the site, unless it is significantly large, you always get “10 cores, 10 GB RAM” as the default.
