Great find Wolfgang. Are you using any of the QoS for backups or plan to?

Not at the moment. Customer needs vDS and Network IO-Control (NIOC) enabled to do so. For many customers network is not congested during backups. But this can be helpful for vSAN environments. Their NIOC can be used to prioritize storage traffic. Now it can be used to control backup traffic as well.
