Requirements

To install the update for the Proxmox Virtual Environment Plug-In for Veeam Backup & Replication, the following are required:

• Veeam Backup & Replication Build: 12.3.0.310
  (To check the build number, go to the Veeam Backup & Replication Console > Main Menu (≡) > Help > About.)
• Proxmox Virtual Environment Plug-In Build: 12.1.1.1024
  (The current build can be found in the installed applications list.)

After the update, the Proxmox Virtual Environment Plug-In will be version 12.1.3.197.

• Restoring Backups from Different Hypervisors
  • Fixed issues related to restoring backups created on different hypervisors.
• Backups of Powered-Off VMs with PCIe Passthrough Devices
  • Resolved issues where backups of powered-off virtual machines using PCIe passthrough devices failed.
• Backup of Linked Clones
  • Fixed issues that prevented successful backups of linked clones.

Deployment Instructions

1. Download the updated Proxmox Virtual Environment Plug-In package using the link provided.
2. Copy the PVEPlugin_12.1.3.197.zip file to the Veeam Backup Server.
3. Close any open Veeam Backup & Replication Consoles and ensure there are no running veeam.backup.shell.exe processes.
4. Unzip the PVEPlugin_12.1.3.197.zip file and run the PVEPlugin_12.1.3.197.exe file to complete the installation.
