HPE is launching LTO-9 Ultrium data cartridges

HPE announced their launch of LTO-9 Ultrium data cartridges.

Could not find much more information about it. No release-dates of LTO-9 drives. As discussed earlier here 

with LTO-9 drives does not provide double-capacity compared to previous version.

Wow that is some nice storage now and capacity.  I am sure cost will play a role though 🙂

FujiFilm begins to ship LTO-9 cartridges, too.
