Hi Folks,

This will be an online and in person event, part of Tech Week here. Undoubtedly Prof: Hinton will touch on Cybersecurity and AI. I was lucky enough to get in person tickets and will be inside the University of Toronto’s Convocation Hall for first time since I graduated in... (censored content) 😂.

AI seems to be seeping into all walks of life and data protection is no exception. Hopefully people will find this interesting.

Very cool, I’m getting more and more into AI and trying to get work to buy me a bunch of GPU’s lol.

I have some ideas to create my own internal AI for everyone but we’ll see how that goes.  It would be fun to train it our our own data to see what it comes up with but there would be too many legal hurdles to jump over and may not be worth it.    I run my own at home on my local system and had some pretty decent success.

It is still scary if you look back 5,10,20 years.  Think of the first videogame pong, to NES, to PlayStation, to PC games now.  Technology is moving at such an insane pace, we have zero idea what even 10 years from now will look like.

Talking about Hinton, I recently watched this show where he was a guest, very insightful:
