Do you have replication jobs leveraging a backup repository as a source? Which compression level do you use for off-site transfers?

+14I normally replicate from the production storage so that the replica is independent of the backup files. Replication from backup makes sense if you have performance reasons or a similar scenario like in your question (in my opinion).
Adjusting the compression has never made euch difference to me, but I also don't have many cases were bandwidth is the problem.
