I did a new install and then also upgraded another cluster in test environments and the snapshotting is failing with the csi-hostpath driver in 7.0.9. For the same cluster this worked fine before the upgrade.
I uninstalled, deleted the kasten-io namespace, re-installed with and earlier version and everything worked fine.
I will try and upgrade again and then post logs if same issue.
+21It will be interesting to see how it works after a second upgrade. Not a great thing to find in a new release.
+22ok so after upgrading again everything has worked ok. Will try my other test clusters to see if this was just a one off.
Upgrading Kasten is very simple even if you wanted to mess up you literally copy and paste a command so :)

Well that is good to hear it worked the second time and it is not a bug to be fixed. 😋
