K10 GCS Location Profile cannot reach, Kubernetes Cluster behind http proxy


Hello,

I am facing problem to validate location profile with GCS configuration. My Kubernetes Cluster is behind http proxy and I can’t see any http proxy configuration when I install K10. Is there anyone ever faced like this, please share your way 🙏

@sukhumsae Thank you for posting your question here.

Kasten doesn’t support using a proxy configuration for location profiles or backup targets.

Using proxy server for backups might actually not be a great idea with respect to performance.

There might be interruptions/bottle-neck/network-latencies while writing backups to a target through a proxy server.

 

Our suggestions would be to allow GCS access from your network bypassing the proxy.
