I just need to know which services are required to run Backup & Replication to a Linux Backup Repository.  We also use Enterprise Manager. How can we reduce unnecessary services?

There are a few services required for a Linux repository but check the list here - https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/services_and_components.html?ver=120

The Transport service is one that is needed for repositories.

Hi @Nikks ,

if you don’t want to go crazy, you can use the Linux Hardened ISO managed by Veeam, it is optimized for this purpose.

Hardened ISO if you have local attached storage. If you use fiber it may not work at this time but there is hope for the future.
