Happy Wednesday! :cowboy:

I’ll try and post a little pop quiz question each day, hope to hear from many of you. Did you know the answer? Did you look it up in the documentation? Did you try it in a lab? Please share some details along with your answer.

Moving backups from the capacity tier to the archive tier, how can one decide which server type will be used? Which network will be used etc. for the temporary appliance that is deployed?

Best answer by Chris.Childerhose

You decide this when adding the Archive Tier in the wizard for Azure and AWS.  There is a step for the temporary appliance as per - Archive Tier Data Transfer - Veeam Backup Guide for vSphere

Step #4 in the wizard. - Example for Amazon - Step 4. Specify Proxy Appliance - Veeam Backup Guide for vSphere
