As I was attending a “little” Conference this week 😉 , I hadn’t had much time to post this week’s VMCE Practice Questions. Since I’m awaiting to board my flight, thought I’d at least get one posted, so here you go. As with other questions, please remember to hide your comment/guess.

As Backup Administrator in your environment, you are tasked not only with maintaining a secure backup environment, but also a highly recoverable one. You think you have everything configured to be able to recover data in the event of a mishap. One thing you have not yet backed up is your Location data. You browse to the Inventory Node in the Veeam Console and select to Export your Locations. What file format will the Location data be exported to?

  1. XML
  2. Exporting Location data is not possible
  3. CSV
  4. TXT
  5. DOCX

Ok, so let’s share what the question answer is…

As you all got, the answer is indeed a. XML

This is a pretty static question really. All other file type options listed are not even listed in the Guide. CSV in the Guide is for Cluster Shared Volumes mostly, and also for a downloadable Tape report format.

Good job everyone!
